Once you have your pages, you need to embellish and "bling" them. I used the Close To My Heart Cricut cartridges - a bit of all of them:
Artistry
Art Philosophy
Artiste
Artbooking
Flower Market
This is Layout 1. I was going to change a few things but thought I would talk about how what you see and what you get isn't always the same thing. I thought since the base page was so busy, I would keep in the same color scheme for the flower. The thing is the flower got lost on the Tangerine paper. I will probably try and do some thing different with the flowers before I am finally done.
This is Layout 2. The "film strip" on the right side of the page may be used for small photos or I will put paper behind and use for journaling. It will depend on the photos I put with it. On the left hand side the "Note" is for journaling already so my first thought is to have small photos in the "film strip".
This is Layout 3. I changed the 4x4 photo and the journaling page on the left hand side because the journaling page didn't show up on the words. I might edge the white paper with Raspberry ink. I also think I might use some 2x2 photos in the small green squares. Close To My Heart also has 2x2 flip flaps which I might use as well as the 4x4 and 4x6 flip flaps. We now have 4x6 flip flaps that are for landscape and portrait.
This is Layout 4. It doesn't show up on the photo too well but I wrote "Happy Birthday ..." all around the edges of the paper and the balloons. Our Granddaughter has a birthday in April. I know we will have more photos so I will plan to use flip flaps on this page.
This is Layout 5. You can also use the corner rounder on each of the squares to give it a different feel.
Let me know what you think about the layouts and if you would have any different suggestions to "bling" and embellish.

New 5 double page layout
I was working on getting a layout done when my sister came over. I used the new Close To My Heart Adventure fundamental paper and she used an old Close To My Heart Expedition paper and she still had the stickers that went with it. I have posted both here, mine first and then hers.
Layout 1
Layout 2
Layout 3
Layout 4
Layout 5
I used 10 pages for base pages and cut 8. There are 24 in the Fundamental packets so there were extra paper left which is used for Cricuting of for photo mats. You can use the Combo packet for Adventure if you wanted plain cardstock.
I am going to design an album retreat using this same Fundamental paper and plain paper and the new sticker compliments. That will be posted next week.
The following is my sister's take on my cut.
Layout 1
Layout 2
Layout 3

Layout 5
As you can see, you can use this cut with a variety of paper and get a variety of looks. Happy scrapping!

Challenge: See what you can do!!!
My sister Sue was here and decided to see how the February 4 2-page layout would work. She cleaned and rearranged her craft space and found some paper packets. I challenge you to see what you can do with what you had at home! Message me and I will send you the "cut" and "layout".
Magical was the first try.
Then came Laughing Lola paper packet.
Get a copy of the cut and layout and see what you can do!

She thought she would try it again with Zoe paper packet.

Sugar Rush blinged!
I took the February 4 2-page layout cut and used some great new products. I used the Z3260 Thin cut hearts as well as the Happy Z3258 and the Carnival Fun set Z3229. I also used the Sugar Rush sets. I used the This & That C1667 and D1714 Dreamin Big- Scrapbooking. I used stamps and Cricut cuts from Art Philosophy, Artiste and Art booking as well as some of the Cricut stamp sets that came with it.
I had done the Workshop Your Way for Sugar Rush and had some things left over from that packet. it was fun to see what the pages would do once you get to have fun making them "pop".

Spring Album with Enchantment Fundamentals
In our Annual Catalog there are packets of paper - 24 sheets - and one of them is called Enchantment fundamentals Z3288. I took the Enchantment paper and designed 7 - 2 page layouts with Front and Back pages. Right now they don't have bling on them and are pretty plain. In our New Seasonal Expressions catalog they have some new compliments Z3306 My Boy. I am going to take the Ribbon Pack Z3288 from the Annual catalog to help "bling" it up. You could choose the 2 Complements from the Annual Catalog for School K-6 Z3265 and 7-12 Z3266. This is a nice album size. You can use these same cuts and use the new compliments in the Seasonal Catalog that go with the Whimsy, Adventure and Basic Fundamental papers.
These are the Front and Back pages or you can use them in the album and do something else for the front and back. You would need 1 Daisy White cardstock for this page set.
Check back later to see the bling on these. Call if you want to complete this album on a Saturday. The cutting and basic putting together would take about 2 hours. Then you can add the photos and bling in another hour or so.

Sugar Rush and Swan Lake
I made 4 - 2 page layouts with mostly 4x6 photos and some 4x4. The Seasonal Expression packets have 10 B&T paper and 2 sheets of Picture My Life cards that you can cut apart. The Zip strips on the top of the pages are also used. There is 1 Daisy White page that is needed.
Using different paper makes it look like a really different project and yet you can use the same pattern with any of the packet choices in the Seasonal Expressions! Let me know if you want to make these 4 great layouts!
My sister came down for the weekend and has a Swan Lake Packet from the last catalog and took the same cutting and did 4 pages for herself!
