Postcard Perfect

Close To My Heart is joining in on the fun of May being Scrapbooking Month.  The paper is called "Postcard Perfect".  You can choose to get EVERYTHING in a bundle!  There is something for everyone.  The Cut Above gives you 3 - 2 page layouts and all you need to do is punch out things and adhere them down.  Everything is done for you.  Here are my samples.

Think about all you can do!  You have to wait until May 1, 2018 and then go for the pages!

1.     2 – 12x12 page layouts  $6

You cut the paper and adhere pieces.  Directions included as well as Cricut and journaling shapes.  Bring photos 2 – 6x4 portrait, 1 – 4x6 landscape and optional 2 – 3x3.

2.     Introductory: Make 2 cards 1 Happy Birthday and 1 Thank you   $5

Paper is cut and you stamp and adhere pieces.

3.  Tool Techniques.  How to do these techniques: 3 from the list $5 (also part of the Open Crop)

- ruler/stitch guide  -embossing powders – Shin Han Touch Twin alcohol markers – Watercolor

-thin cuts – embossing folders – stamping techniques

4.Learn how to use the Cricut Explore Air $6 -

Use Design Space online and Ipad Cricut Design and make 2 cards and 1 12x12 page from samples you learn to make.  We will look at the CTMH Flower market, Artistry and Artbooking and You are Here Cricut cartridges.

5. Workshop your Way - $35

Buy the kit you want to do to make 3 – 2 page layouts.  $.40 per card (it varies from 6 – 12 based on the patterns. 

6. Card buffet $25 for up to 8 cards

Paper precut and bundled.  Variety of cards: happy birthday, thinking of you, sympathy, friendship etc.

7. Kids Projects

5x8 booklet $10  10 pages booklet bound together as Pre-cut paper to choose to decorate pages.  Bling and Cricut shapes to choose from as well.  Under 10 years need parent present. 

8. Workshop Your Way – Card making $25

(choose from the choices in Seasonal Expressions)  Makes 12 cards – 2 designs.

9. Every Day Life Album $50

Bring 4x6 photos and go home with a 20 page.  Choose your album.  You will get 10 6x8 pages and 5 pages which hold 4x6 photos and 5 pages that hold 3x4 photos.  You will choose ½ paper packet which will have a ½ cardstock packet.  You will need to cut your paper based on a cutting guide.

10. Barb’s design Flip Flap pages $20

You will get 2 12x12 memory protectors and 2 6x12 flip flaps.  You will get a variety of paper and cardstock and a cutting guide

11. Year Calendar Workshop Weekend workshop $50

Stamp each month and put in dates as well as other stamps.  Cutting guide for making 12 12x12 months for photos – 4x6 and cut down to smaller shapes.  Make Cricut shapes if you wish.  Choose from 1 of the 4 families of paper and matching compliment. 

15. Base & Bling Buffet $12

You get a choice of gold or silver chain, pendant and charm.  You can pay for additional pieces.

16. Open Crop $15 – my home only times based on people’s schedules.

You bring your own paper or order for that day ahead of time.  You get to use all my machines and be instructed on their use.  Patterns are available.  You will learn techniques.  Bring food to share.

17.  Sign up for 4 months of Card class or Scrapbook page class $25

Make 3 cards each month or 2 - 12x12 each month

18. Custom design for cards, pages and albums upon request.

Sign up for an adventure in creating and keeping memories in scrapbook form and/or creating gifts in card making.  Deadlines for dates are 2 weeks before the event to ensure delivery of materials.  Come to my house or if there are 3+ I will come to your house.  All prices include tax and shipping.  Prices may change and all projects may not be identical to samples.  Our Annual book is from August 1 2017- July 31 2018 or Seasonal Expressions is from January 1, 2018 – April 30 2018 with a new book May 1, 2018.  Prices on this list good until April 31, 2018.  Every 4 months a new Seasonal Expressions come out so some prices may vary with each book.

Cut Above Kitchen Traditions

My daughter's girls help her cook.  They are 8 and 4.  The other day one of them said "Mommy are you going to write down all our favorite recipes so we can use them when we get older?"  My daughter mentioned that to me and I showed her the Cut above Creative Collection of Kitchen Traditions.  She got one album set for each girl. 

They are super cute.  There is space for lots of photos - present day cooking and past people that gave the recipes.  There are journaling cards to remember the stories that go with them.  Have you ever wanted to give a gift to a child/grandchild/friend with all the "family secret" recipes?

More Chelsea Gardens

I took the Chelsea Gardens 12 pages and Coordinating Cardstock 12 pages, and still had a full page of Charcoal and Mink for Cricut embellishing.  I have scraps and cards that I can use on our Daisy White paper if I do need more pages.   I used the Close to my Heart Artistry Cricut for embellishment.  The first set of photos are the straight cut.  The second set has the Artistry embellishment.  You could also use the Chelsea Garden Compliments  and Chelsea Gardens Dots and Gems and Cream Ribbon. 

There is a new Make it from your Heart Volume 4. This is a great resource for making pages.  Make it from your Heart Volume 3 is for cards.  Volumes 1 and 2 have both pages and cards.  These are great "recipes" for making projects from either scraps or paper you have or paper you wish to order.  In the front of the book it shows you the basic outline and how many photos are on a page.  Then each one shows you the layout,  several finished options, and the cutting guide. 

Don't forget the Flip Flaps of various sizes. go over the photos and offer more photos as well as journaling space.  There are also Pocket Plus Memory Protector 1/2 pages for various photos that allow you to add more photos in the middle of your 12x12 pages.

Workshop Your Way - Chelsea Gardens

Workshop Your Way just got easier.  You now get the printed directions in the kits plus place card holders for the photos if you aren't ready to put them on your pages directly.  You don't need any stamping or inks for the actual 3 - 2 page layouts.  There complements, and embellishments to help make wonderful pages and extra do do our half pages or in your are creative, to make some more pages. 

These are the pages that you can make.  If you wish, you can get a stamp with thin cuts and use your inks, card blanks and other embellishments to make between 6- 9 cards. 

You can make 2 of each of these cards with the cuts from the original paper.  You can also choose not to cut out the paper that would go for the cads and use that for making other scrapbook pages.

Workshop Your Way Cards - You are more

Valentine's Day is coming and you can create some really great cards for that day as well as use the directions to make other occasions as well.  The Workshop Your Ways come with directions and pretty much all you need.  You will need inks, thin cuts and some watercolor pencils and Bashful shimmer Brush.  

These are the directions and stamps that come with the Workshop Your Way.  I had some other paper and used these as Valentine's Day cards.  I had some extra paper cut and there are only so many people to send Valentine's Day cards to, so I used other stamps and created these other fun cards.  You can use the directions and make changes and have lots of fun for future cards and seasons!  Get going and see what you can do!

Remember that if you and at least 3 friends want to get together, I will come over and do a card workshop and show you all of the new things.  January 1, 2018 is the new Seasonal Expression.  That means all of those really neat things in Holiday Expressions will be done December 31, 2017.   

The new card classes are starting at Baraboo UMC on the 1st Thursday at 6:30pm.  The Portage Public library classes will be the 2nd Monday at 1 - 3pm. (must register through library) There will be a Spring Card buffett at the Indian Agency House at the end of February getting reading for Mother's day, Father's day, weddings and graduations.  All groups have a maximum of 10 people.  Email me @ revskell@gmail.com.
