This year they also have stickers for the numbers of the days of each month.  There is a wonderful stamp set to help highlight what happens on the days.  I make my calendars for gifts and some of the stickers are things that need to go on as the year progresses.  I am going to make stickers to give with the calendar so my recipients can keep having this calendar share what they need to do.

Calendar Retreat

Each summer a group of us get together and make calendars for the next year.  Usually Close To My Heart comes out with a calendar in the fall and be buy it for the next year.  This year we thought we would just get a calendar blank and use an old pattern and things we had around the house. 

I used old papers with new papers and Glitter paper which is amazing.  I have old colors and old inks and have had fun using them again with old stamps and thin cuts and cricut shapes. 

If you want to do a calendar, let me know.  It is a great way to use up scraps or take a new paper packet and cardstock and be creative.  Here are the 12 months:

Make a 12x12 calendar

This month is National Scrapbooking month and the Close To My Heart special is makings of a calendar.  You can come over and in 4-5 hours have a calendar done and ready to put photos on for yourself or for a gift.

This is an easy way to get a calendar done.  The CTMH Cut Above is basically all cut for you.  For $30.95 you can buy the calendar and the kits and come over to my house and make a mess and get the project done.  This is stamping of at least the months and you can stamp or write the dates and then you can go to town and stamp on the calendar side to make it your own if you wish. I have put it together and the Cut Above part was done in less than 2 hours.  I spent longer stamping in the dates and stamping on the calendar to embellish the look.
